We are the mentors, the role models the ones who guide and give direction to the future. We have an obligation to go forward into the future with confidence. 
This confidence is built through education and as teachers, we all must believe that our own education plays a pivotal role in our confidence. Learning and striving to be the guide on the side means that we learn along with our students and are there to monitor, assess and direct them. To have our students engage, we ourselves must engage.

This course has challenged me to engage myself in 21st century learning. While I have accumulated several online credits through Brock, this course has opened up a whole new toolbox for me.
I have discovered ways I can work with my students and invite them into a whole new online world of learning. There is so much more to learn and one can almost become addicted to the amazement 
found behind the many sites. I do regret not spending enough time with twitter and I shall persevere in my quest to discover the #hashtag.
